Improved performance with all-aluminium heat exchangers

Hydro supplies aluminium components designed for HVAC heat exchangers: aluminium tubes, manifolds and clad strip for fins. Individual components are available for order, but they can also be supplied as an all-in-one package, HYVAC™. The aluminium alloys used in our HYVAC™ packages have been developed in-house to optimize performance against corrosion.

Compared to standard aluminium tube/copper fin heat exchangers, all-aluminium heat exchangers made of HYVAC™ components offer:

  • higher corrosion resistance
  • lower cost
  • increased recyclability

Product details

  • HYVAC™ packages are available for mechanically assembled heat exchangers (round tubes and fins) and brazed heat exchangers (multi port extrusion, fins and manifolds).
  • Components are made to fit each other and are available from stock in different dimensions.

    Aluminium kann stranggepresst und zu Rohren und Profilen unterschiedlicher Art geformt werden.

    Aluminiumbarren werden erhitzt und durch Matrizen zu Profilen für unterschiedliche Produkte gepresst. So löst Aluminium beispielsweise Kupfer zunehmend als bevorzugtes Material für die Leitungen in Wärmetauschern und Klimaanlagen ab. Aluminiumprodukte können praktisch jede beliebige Form erhalten.
