Nomination committee
The nomination committee was established in 2001, with four members. Two are appointed by the Annual General Meeting, two by the Corporate Assembly. The chair of the Corporate Assembly has a permanent seat on the committee.
The committee nominates candidates to the Board of Directors and the Corporate Assembly and proposes remuneration to the Board, its sub-committees and to the Corporate Assembly.
Nomination committee members are Siri Teigum (chair), Leif Teksum, Westye Høegh and Mette Wikborg.

Siri Teigum (born 1961) has been a member of the Corporate Assembly since 2001 and Deputy Chairperson of the Corporate Assembly since 2004. She has been a member of the Nomination Committee since its establishment in 2001, elected by the Corporate Assembly. Teigum is a lawyer by profession and a partner in the law firm Thommessen.
- Leif Teksum (1952) holds a master degree in economics and business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen. Teksum is Executive Vice President for corporate market and payment services in DnB NOR. Teksum has held a number of management positions in Bergen Bank and DnB/DnB NOR, such as bank manager of the foreign exchange and capital market division, division manager of DnB Markets, division manager of DnB’s capital management division and division manager of shared services, including IT.

Westye Høegh (1942) has served as member of the Board of Leif Höegh & Co since 1974 and Chairman since 1984. For many years he held various positions within the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association. Westye Høegh has been a member of the European Community Shipowners’ Association Council and served as Chairman of Intertanko from 1999 to 2001. He is a member of Norsk Hydro Shareholder Board (Bedriftsforsamling) and its Nomination Committee. He is Chairman of the Council of Det Norske Veritas and a Director of Höegh Invest Eiendom AS. Westye Høegh has a Bachelor of Law from the University of Oslo and holds an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Mette Wikborg (1963) holds a degree in economics from the University of Oslo, where she also has worked as a lecturer. Wikborg is Director General of the ownership department in the Ministry of Trade and Industry and was previously Director General of the Ministry’s department for research and innovation policy. Wikborg has been a Fullbright scholarship holder at Harvard University, and has previously worked as an adviser in the Ministry of Finance and as a consultant in McKinsey & Company. In the period 2002-2003, Wikborg was a member of the Skauge Committee, which was responsible for preparing a tax reform proposal.
