The company also supplies metal products and structural components for automotive applications from operations located in France. Hydro has about 1650 employees in the country.
Hydro’s operations in France are located all around the country, but are largely focused on downstream aluminium products.
The company’s extrusion operations include plants in Châteauroux, Lucé and Pinon. Its plant in Louviers began as an extrusion plant, but now delivers structural components in aluminium to automotive customers like Peugeot and Renault.
Hydro’s building systems activity in France is based in Toulouse, which is the home of Technal - one of the company’s three main systems brands.
