Logroño
Hydro acquired the building systems group Alumafel in July 2008, including Alumafel's controlling 56 percent interest in an anodizing operation located in Logroño. The city, located in northern Spain, is capital of the autonomous community of La Rioja, which is perhaps best known for its Rioja wine. Around 60 people are employed at the anodizing operation, Eural. Alumafel is one of the best-known building systems brands in Spain.
