In Sweden, Hydro is present with the production of automotive components and as a supplier of aluminium extrusions, components and building systems, as well as rolled products. The company has about 360 employees in Sweden.
Hydro's plant in Skultuna serves automotive customers looking for lightweight, aluminium-made structural components such as fuel filler pipes. The aluminium extrusions and building systems operations are based at Hydro's facilities in Åseda and Vetlanda, where also high-tech components to various industrial segments are fabricated.
