Hannover

Hydro has two operations in Hannover: first, a precision tubing facility, which is the only producer of seam-welded tubes with outer diameters over 100 mm. Our products are delivered into the automotive industry for chassis applications, structural components, driveshafts, fuel-filler pipes, air suspension pistons and crash absorbers. The second, a remelting plant, casts 20,000 tonnes per year of extrusion billet in special, hard alloys which contain zinc, copper, lead, bismuth and tin, mostly for extrusion plants serving the aerospace and automotive industries.
