Hydro has upstream and downstream activities at Karmøy
Hydro's largest unit at Karmøy is the primary aluminium plant. We also have three casthouses delivering extrusion ingot, wire rod and sheet casting. The rolling mill supplies the building and transport industy, and coil for transformer windings. In addition, we have a research and development facility located at Karmøy.
