Credit facilities

Hydro has in place several credit facilities to ensure access to capital on short notice.

The following credit facilities were in place as of 31 December 2007.

  • Hydro had unused short-term credit facilities totaling approximately NOK 1.6 billion.
  • Hydro also had a syndicated USD 1.7 billion (NOK 9.5 billion) 7-year multi-currency revolving credit facility, which Hydro entered into during 2005.

There were no borrowings under any of these three agreements as of 31 December 2007.
