Longitudinally seam-welded tubes can be produced in many different cross-sectional shapes for use in a wide range of applications. Decisive is the outstanding formability of the alloys used (high elongation) and the high reproducibility of the manufacturing process (tight tolerances).
Longitudinally seam-welded tubes are the convincing solution because of their outstanding forming properties and high cost-effectiveness. In large batches, they are particularly attractive for automotive applications. Thin-walled, large-diameter tubes can be manufactured easily. Precision and quality are also assured at low processing costs.
