For the manufacture of brazed automotive heat exchangers, we supply a whole range of brazing alloys and core alloys, which are tailored to individual customer requirements for all customary brazing processes.
Beside the standard alloys, Hydro has developed special "long-life alloys" combining high strength after brazing with excellent corrosion resistance.
As an example, longitudinally seam-welded tubes and finstock made from Hydro long-life alloys display outstanding service life in corrosion tests such as SWAAT.
In comparison to conventional alloys, such as EN AW-3003, the service life of these alloys is up to 10 times longer.
