Hydro delivers aluminium extrusions and strip for interior applications. One example of aluminium's use is in rear seat benches, which gives exemplary protection in crash situations. Aluminium alloys are necessary, providing high formability for the manufacture of very complex components, yet having sufficient formability in reserve when assembled to absorb energy through plastic deformation in a crash.
