We have organized the Customer Portal into four service areas: Orders and Contracts, Technical Support, Commercial and Financial Services and General Functionality.

1. Orders and Contracts

You can access online information about:

• Certificates

The Customer Portal is much more than an electronic order form. It can help you:

• Track your order as it moves through our system

You will be able to access and monitor progress on contracts, orders, deliveries, invoices and complaints. We have placed great emphasis on providing a customized and personalized service to you, creating the experience of a web site for your individual use. Security is, of course, very important as well, and our very stringent requirements ensure complete confidentiality.

2. Technical Support

This section provides you with information on technical specifications, data sheets and other factors which might be useful in optimizing product and process quality. Supplemental technical information is provided to aid the existing dialogue between your technical specialists and our technical support crew.

To enhance technical support and problem solving, here are some of the services available through the customer portal:

Some of our tools are interactive - by entering the relevant information, you will receive an immediate online response. Or, you can fill in a form, allow us to carry out further calculations and then provide you with a final report in the customer portal.

3. Commercial and Financial Services

This part of the customer portal has been established to support the order process and is an extension of some of the services currently provided to customers. It includes a number of advanced tools to assist you in pricing, risk control and risk identification.

As a leading aluminium producer and distributor, we have a great deal of experience in risk management and aluminium trading. By means of the customer portal we are able to share some of our experience with you, so that you can better manage your own risk when purchasing aluminium products.

The customer portal offers:

• Price calculator
• Financial benchmarking - a set of tools to monitor your pricing performance as well as simulate future risk exposure

The customer portal is a communication channel which enhances our service level to our customers. For example, Hydro personnel can easily be contacted to discuss pricing strategies, using the risk management tools as basis.
