Our interactive training program, “You and Hydro” aims to ensure that all of our employees have the same understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
A training program for the entire company
“You and Hydro” is an obligatory e-learning program designed to help employees understand in detail their obligations and rights as Hydro employees. It is accessed on the Hydro intranet and is available in 12 languages. It w as launched in 2008 and is mandatory for all employees.
The program is structured as a series of interactive cases. It covers topics such as harassment, work environment and safety at work and off work. It also covers topics designed to let employees know what Hydro expects from them in areas such as reporting, security, gifts and hospitality.
Human rights and requirements for suppliers are also discussed. Each of the cases explains both what Hydro expects of the employee in terms of work performance and behavior, as well as what the employee can expect of the company.
The You and Hydro training program is made up of several interactive sessions discussing dilemmas. The cases can be studied individually or in groups. Employees who do not have direct access to the Hydro intranet can attend group meetings.
Through this training program, we help our employees understand the expectations that exist between them and Hydro regarding work performance and behavior. The “You and Hydro” program helps them the tools to make the right decisions on the job and to feel secure in their rights as an employee.
