Birger Solberg
Shareholder-elected member of Hydro's corporate assembly.
Birger Solberg (1960) has an MSc in Civil Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Solberg is presently CEO of Sibelco Nordic AB in addition to having the regional responsibility for Sibelco’s activities in Russia, Ukraine and Poland. He has extensive national and international experience from the raw materials and processing industry.
Solberg is chair of the board of directors of Sibelco Nordic AS, Fen Minerals AS and Labek AS. He is also a board member in Backe Entreprenør Holding AS, Franzefoss Miljøkalk AS, Northland Resources SA (Luxembourg) and Lilleby Eiendom AS.
