Ove Ellefsen

Ellefsen started his career at Karmøy Fabrikker in 1976, first as an operator and later as a supervisor for many years, before becoming a project supervisor in the electrolysis plant. He has a certificate in electrolysis and has pursued an education in supervisory work.

In Hydro's board of directors, Ellefsen represents employees through the Sentralt Samarbeidsråd (Central Cooperative Council), which includes the unions Tekna, Nito, Lederne and Negotia. Ellefsen is also on the board of the company sports organization in Karmøy and earlier was a board member of the Haugesund Arbeiderparti (Labor Party).
