Scratch a Hydro employee from any of the 30+ countries we operate in and you’ll probably draw a little Hydro blue along with some fascinating stories about our different aluminium operations and exciting developments in our power and solar businesses. But more than that you’ll find people who care about what they do and its impact on the world around them.
So it’s no surprise that the graduates who join us each year are pretty special, too. They come from all over – Norway, Germany, India, Sweden, Romania, Philippines, Russia, U.S. and many other countries. Some of them start in summer jobs, some directly after graduation and some come through our Graduate Trainee Program.
Their stories
Listen to them talk about what matters and you’ll hear familiar topics like friends, music, Facebook, a good night out or trying new stuff. If you ask them about their experience in Hydro, you’ll hear comments like “thrown in at the deep end,” “great chance to learn from Day One,” “…great support from the other trainees and my boss.”
