Façade systems on display
(March 16, 2004) Hydro Building Systems launches several new products at "Nordbygg 2004", the largest building and construction fair in Scandinavia. The show draws close to 800 companies from more than 30 countries.
Façade systems with high insulation, fire resistance, burglar or even bullet protection are among the novelties the Hydro brand Wicona presents in the Stockholm show 16-20 March.
Hydro Building Systems is the biggest supplier of building systems in aluminium in Europe and through its range of systems it offers near limitless design possibilities combined with a high degree of functionality and product quality.
Insulation is important to the energy consumption in buildings. The new Wicona WICTEC 50 HI+ offers a system developed positioned profile with a so-called Uf-value of ~1.23W/m2K. The new façade system can be integrated into nearly all WICTEC 50 performances; design and functions variants.
The new fire protected façade and roof can also be integrated into standard façade or roof designs, allowing architects to freely supply parts of the façade with fire protection without disturbing the homogenous look of the construction. The new solutions are fire resistant according to class E30 and EI30.
