Minor gas leak on Heimdal stopped
(Aug. 22, 2006) A gas leak alarm that sounded on the Heimdal platform Tuesday morning about 8:30 a.m. was quickly resolved.
Personnel onboard the platform were mustered in accordance with routine procedure. The gas leak was in instrument tubing in the well area.
All routines and procedures were followed and functioned just as they should.
