New head of Hydro's Investor Relations

Stefan Solberg

(June 19, 2007) Stefan Solberg has been appointed head of Investor Relations in Hydro, effective October 1.

Stefan Solberg (31) will be responsible for Hydro’s contact with investors and financial markets in Norway and abroad. He will report to Chief Financial Officer John Ove Ottestad. Solberg will succeed Ada Christiane Rieker, who will take on a job as head of analysis and portfolio in StatoilHydro.

Solberg joined Hydro in 1999 and has been working in the IR department since 2005. He has previously held positions in accounting, planning, strategy and corporate finance functions in Hydro’s Corporate Center.

Solberg holds a business degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) and is also a certified European financial analyst.
