Price increase for aluminium strip deliveries in 4th quarter 2007
(Aug. 28, 2007) Hydro is instituting a EUR 40 per tonne conversion price increase on plain aluminium strip and sheet delivered to the general engineering industry.
The price increase is related to rising overall costs, especially in Europe, where Hydro produces most of its aluminium rolled products for this industry.
The increase will be effective for new orders and contracts with delivery after 1 October 2007 that are not covered by existing contractual agreements.
