Quality management

Hydro has total commitment to a Quality Management System which forms the framework for all company activities and processes.
quality management

The Quality Management System is used to enable us to continually improve customer satisfaction, quality performance and our organisation.

As well as conforming to all major quality standards, Hydro has taken a lead in the UK extrusion industry by adopting internal quality systems that meet ever more demanding industry requirements (e.g. for automotive). A further example of this stance is reflected in the fact that the Bedwas plant became the first Hydro company in the UK to achieve ISO 14001 registration for Environmental Management Systems.

We recognise that product and service quality is a pre-requisite in business today. Some of the quality accreditations held across Hydro's extrusion plants in the UK are:

ISO 9001:2000 Quality Systems Accreditation
