As a company concerned about the environment we recommend the minimal use of packaging materials. This has the double benefit of reducing the time and cost of unpacking and disposal of any waste and keeping our own costs down.

We normally include the cost of appropriate packaging in our quoted price based on what you as a customer tell us about the end use of the extrusion and your handling and storage facilities. The more information you give us the better we are able to optimise.

If the the surface of the extrusion will be seen when in use it may need protection during transit. We normally use tissue paper, cardboard strips or plastic film for this purpose. Otherwise it can be delivered simply strapped with plastic banding.

Extra outer protection in the form of cardboard or stretched clear plastic is also available. Cartons and wrapped bundles typically weigh up to 50kg but larger packs of 1000kg. and over are possible.

We are also happy to discuss any special requirements including returnable skips or pallets.

Together we can choose the packaging method that best suits your extrusions and requirements. In this way we avoid unnecessary costs and ensure that the goods are delivered safely and with respect for the environment.
