Hydro has upstream and downstream activities at Karmøy

Hydro's largest unit at Karmøy is the primary aluminium plant. We also have three casthouses, one delivering extrusion ingot for profile production, another producing wire rod for high voltage cables and a sheet casthouse for the rolling mill. In addition, we have a research and development facility located at Karmøy.
