A more exclusive solution – dedicated to aluminium – exists, and can bring you several steps ahead in terms of performance. This is the brazed heat exchanger.

The compact design based on multi-port extrusions (MPE) demands controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB), which is an oven-based process. Hydro supplies all the parts needed to manufacture brazed heat exchangers. These can be delivered with HYBRAZ™/® coating, ready for assembly and oven brazing. HYBRAZ™/® is a combined flux and filler material.

  • Higher efficiency compared to a conventional heat exchanger (with an identical front surface on the airside).
