Replacing copper tubes by aluminium in copper tubes/aluminium fins heat exchangers bring savings of up to 60% on the tubes for equal performances of the system. Cost saving are similar for all-aluminium brazed heat exchangers made of MPE, fins and manifolds, but more compact systems can be designed thanks to the better efficiency.
