AHR Expo is the largest trade fair in North America for the HVACR industry, and traditionally the global industry's first major show of the year. The 2012 event, arranged in Chicago, attracted more than 58,000 visitors, smashing the previous attendance record.

Nearly 2,000 exhibitors from 35 countries showcased their products and technologies at the three-day fair, which was arranged in Chicago. Hydro was one of the participants.

The key difference for Hydro this year, compared with previous years, was that the company presented more than products and technologies. Hydro unveiled at AHR Expo a global sales and marketing unit dedicated to the HVACR industry.

"This significant restructuring of our sales and marketing activities in aluminum tubing is supporting our most important new market area, and will be key to future global growth," says Salvador Biosca, who is responsible for Hydro's aluminium tubing operations.

"This team is dedicated to HVACR and underlines our commitment to making the business of our customers better."
