Updated solar test report from Hydro

Last year, Hydro published a test report which showed that more than 20 years of lifetime may be expected when using tubes from Hydro’s HyLife™ Solar aluminium alloy in closed loop solar thermal systems.
Together with SPF in Switzerland, Hydro has continued testing and is now proud to present an updated test report in which the test temperature has been pushed to 300 ºC.
Results show that Hydro’s HyLife™ Solar aluminium alloy is also suitable for vacuum tube collectors with significantly higher temperatures than flat panel collectors.
