Hydro can supply precision drawn tubes for all types of absorbers as well for connecting lines that connect collectors to the tank.

Within these ranges, there are certain limits depending the ratio between OD and WT. Please contact Hydro to find out which dimensions the HyLife™ Solar alloy is available in. Tubes can be delivered in coils or cut-to-length. Depending on requirements, shape dimensions and manufacturing, we normally cut our aluminium tubes and products with a chipless cut. Our equipment enables straightening, cutting and inspection processes to be done in a combined operation - to very tight tolerances.

Tubes that have been cut-to-length can also be punched or machined to headers/manifolds for plate and tube absorbers or MPE absorbers.

Aluminium tubes may be coiled, cut, bent, welded, punched, drilled, brazed, expanded, connected or end formed. Just like copper tubes. It is not difficult to work with aluminium, it’s only different.
