There are several advantages with using aluminium in solar applications. These advantages have already been offering its benefits to other heat exchanging applications for some time. It just would not be fair of Hydro not to offer these advantages also to the solar industry.

Many absorber manufacturers have already switched to aluminium sheets and experienced the weight and price advantages aluminium offer. Apart from saving further weight and cost, all aluminum tube and sheet absorbers, offer even further advantages compared to absorbers with aluminium sheet and copper tubes.
