Hydro to expand casting capacity in Sunndal

To support its continuing growth in North America, Hydro AluminumMetal Products has made the following organizational appointments:
Hydro is to expand its cast house capacity in Sunndal, Norway to secure its market position for casting alloys in Europe. The investment program totalling NOK 240 million is expected to return good profitability. Production is expected to reach 360,000 tonnes this year, nearly 30,000 tonnes more than the original target set for the expansion.
