We can consistently extrude solid, semi-hollow, and hollow shapes with dimensional accuracy and superior surface quality, using a variety of standard and proprietary aluminum alloys. We can meet your most demanding design criteria, quality requirements, and delivery schedules.

Global extrusion network

We have an extensive extrusion network in the U.S. — 14 presses at six extrusion plants, ranging in size from 7" to 10". Hydro also operates more than 55 presses worldwide at 26 extrusion facilities in 16 countries. On-going benchmarking and extensive knowledge sharing ensure Hydro quality throughout the entire global network.

Quality finish

We offer high-quality wet paint and powder coating, standard and "no-burn" anodizing, a variety of mechanical and chemical surface treatments, and special capabilities such as non-skid and two-tone finishes.

Technical and metal support

Our Holland, MI Technology Center supports all U.S. extrusion facilities with advanced testing, unique product or production challenges, and implementation of new extrusion technology. And, three extrusion facilities have adjacent casthouses to serve the needs of our extrusion customers; to more easily secure metal supply, develop tailored alloys, etc.
