Global collaboration
Hydro’s Terrace Door systems are manufactured at Hydro’s operation in Cassville, Missouri. But many design elements come from Europe where Hydro is the largest supplier of building systems. In a collaborative effort, Cassville engineers teamed with Hydro’s European Domal group. Drawing on Domal’s decades of experience, Hydro Cassville then incorporated proven technology with an innovative design to come up with the perfect product for the rapidly growing North American terrace door market.
A green building solution
The T-5000 is also perfect for architects who are looking for green building solutions.
Hydro Terrace Doors are energy-efficient and good for the environment. They are made of aluminum with high recycled metal content. This is good for two reasons: First, making doors out of recycled aluminum requires much less energy than had they been made from primary aluminum. Second, despite the recycling process, the metal in the door retains all its useful properties; the door performs the same as had it been made of primary aluminum. And, to top it all off, at the end of their useful lives, Hydro doors can be recycled once again.
