Hydro Names Rhonda Wright Vice President Business Controller for Metals

Hydro has appointed Rhonda Wright as Vice President, Business Controller for its North American Aluminum Metal business unit. Wright has been with the company for seven years in various management roles. In this new position, she will be responsible for the financial and accounting functions of the business unit while developing and promoting further improvements within the organization.

Wright joined Hydro in 1999 as Controller of the Monett and Cassville, Missouri, extrusion and remelt operations. In 2004, she was promoted to Manager, Operations for the Monett casthouse. In announcing the appointment, Yogi Shergill, head of Hydro's North American extrusion ingot business, said: "Rhonda has proven her worth time and again and is a valuable member of our management team. With her vast knowledge and experience in extrusion technology and aluminum remelt, I am certain we will continue to see the strong contributions that we have grown to expect from her."

Prior to joining Hydro, Wright held progressively responsible finance positions with several companies including Rubbermaid and Gannett. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southwest Missouri State University.
