Metal procurement and price management
With three in-house casthouses and access to Hydro's global metal products network, we are uniquely positioned to support the metal needs of our extrusion customers. We can supply metal, develop tailored alloys, lock in future metal deliveries, and help you manage metal price risk. And, we offer a sustainable solution by producing primary-grade billet with more than 70% recycled content; ideal for the production of "green" products.
Single-source production responsibility
As a single-source supplier, we take full responsibility for all aspects of the production process; from die design, through extrusion, fabrication, finishing, and final assembly. Advanced quality control systems assure consistently high quality throughout the process to optimize your product performance.
Program management solutions
For products which require high-level assembly or contract manufacturing, our four manufacturing “centers of excellence” offer the most advanced equipment, well-developed production processes, and creative problem solving. We provide engineering, process design, and program management services starting at product inception through turn-key manufacturing and JIT delivery. And, for high-labor content products, we offer nearshore manufacturing which reduces labor costs without the logistic issues which exist with overseas manufacturing.
