The extrusion technique offers virtually unlimited design possibilities. Together with the ability to build in features that save both work and money, this makes aluminium extrusions the ideal construction material.
Extrusion means heating an ingot of aluminium and pressing it under high pressure through a tool with a cross-section corresponding to the finished extrusion. The speed depends on the composition of the alloy and the complexity of the pattern of the tool. The extrusions are drawn out onto a receiving table, stacked and allowed to cool. They are then tempered and cut. Any fabrication or surface finishing is then carried out.
We have four presses with press force from 1.200 tonnes up to 7.000 tonnes and with capacities from 80 g/m up to 30 kg/m. Extrusion width up to 520 mm.
