The coating of aluminium extrusions can be achieved by several methods.

Conventional spray finishing is widely used and is extremely versatile and flexible. The coating is done in spray booths from two directions for uniform coverage. Automatic equipment allows for lower labour costs, reject rates and paint waste, while providing a better quality of surface finish.

In electrostatic spraying, the paint particles and the object to be painted have opposite electrical charges, so the paint is attracted to the extrusion surface. This technique ensures uniform coverage, minimum waste from overspraying, highly efficient production and low cost automation.
