With its new Elit Extreme window with aluminium-covered wooden frames, Elitfönster, Swedens largest window manufacturer, has brought together the best characteristics from the whole of its range in one and the same product.
Elit Extreme, which with a number of unique characteristics, creates a new generation of windows. An external aluminium covering system creates a rain shield and eliminates the need for maintenance, a newly developed outer selfcleaning glass does away with the need for window cleaners and a U-value of 1.2 (the average for the whole construction) provides excellent heat insulation. Furthermore, the windows have a very stable wooden construction, triple glazing with 4 mm thick glass and energy glass to keep the heat on the inside. The new Extreme system can be customised in a wide variety of ways with fixed frames, windows that can be opened and glazed doors.
The windows have a new design with a slimmer, planer covering system that fits in better with the façades of buildings. Even close up it is difficult to tell the difference between lacquered aluminium and wood.
