The new cover consists of a combination of a fixed windshield and a collapsible aluminium frame. Developed for rapid and simple use and stored in a hatch on the afterdeck, the cover can be put up or taken down in a mere ten seconds!
Ertec started the product development using steel but soon switched to aluminium. This allowed Ertec to produce a design that was stiffer and stronger as well as more flexible and lighter.

The cover, which is stowed in a hatch on the afterdeck, has been developed to be easy to operate and can be put up or taken down in a mere ten seconds!

The cover frame consists of a number of arches made of ten different aluminium extrusions.

The windshield is a development of Ertec’s tried and tested technology of arch and frame extrusions in aluminium with panels that can be opened.
