EU:s approval is based on a requirement of the sale of HAP:s units in Raufoss and Vetlanda to balance a JV´s dominating market share on the Nordic markets. The process to divest these businesses has started and is planned to be completed before the end of the year.

Until then nothing will be changed and Hydro Aluminium Profiler will continue as an own unit with retained company name and identity. We remain a strong organization with the aim of supporting and serving our customers and markets in Scandinavia and Europe. Our customer support organization will remain the same with existing sales and support teams. Even our market- and communications platform will remain the same, including our website as a forum for continuous business and product information from HAP.

Thus Hydro Aluminium Profiler remains as supplier and partner and look forward to continuous inspiring development and cooperation with existing and new customers.
