Extrusion is the introduction of aluminium into a container and forcing it at high pressure through the profiled opening of a die. The process actually begins with computer-aided design, which gives the profile its real added value. 2 presses are installed in Raeren (1600 – 3200 tonnes), which can produce lengths up to 14 metres.
