Joining

Aluminium can easily be joined using a number of different techniques
Joining

Aluminium may be welded with the ordinary welding methods TIG and MIG. We make allowance for strength reduction in the welding zone by either placing weldings in unstressed areas or by increasing the wall thickness of the profile in the welding zone.

Adhesive bonding may also be used for joining aluminium profiles or for joining aluminium profiles with other materials.

Along with welding and screw joints riveting is one of the most common ways to join aluminium. Aluminium has the advantage that cold rivets may be used, which gives a very limited contraction.

Furthermore, in the course of time we have developed a number of joining techniques for aluminium profiles such as clip joints or cold welding by pressing profiles together.

Already at the inquiry stage we can guide you in the choice of the right joining method.
