(May 9, 2008) Hydro acquired on April 18 the Expral extrusion plant near Madrid. Together with the extrusion plant in La Roca, near Barcelona, the Expral plant is now part of an Extrusion Spain organization.
Albert Ramos, who has been editor for the La Roca sub-site, is leading the work to develop an Extrusion Spain sub-site that combines information and customer tools from both the plants.
Ramos and sales manager Carles Subirats have agreed on most of the changes, including the addition of Expral's product catalog with downloads for customers and potential customers. This work began on May 8 and will be concluded in a matter of days. The sub-site has also changed its "name" on the URL address from La Roca to Extrusion Spain.
