Hydro has a rolled products operation in Holmestrand. The rolling mill has production capacity of about 95,000 metric tons per year, which includes clad material for finstock, and surface-critical end products.

How to get there:
By airplane
From Oslo Gardermoen Airport the plant can easily be reached by train in 1 hour 45 minutes. From Torp Airport, Sandefjord, you can reach the plant by car/taxi in about 40 minutes following the main road to Oslo (E18) and then taking direction to Holmestrand.
By train
At Oslo Gardermoen Airport trains leave every hour from platform 4. They are marked “Skien – Vestfoldbyene”. As a Hydro employee you receive a discount on the train if you show your Hydro identification when buying the ticket.
By car
From Oslo Airport it will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the plant by car. Please take the main road E18 in the direction of Drammen, then follow the roadsigns to Holmestrand. From Torp Airport please take the main road E18 in the direction of Oslo, then follow the roadsigns to Holmestrand. You will reach the plant within approximately 40 minutes.
