Hydro, helping to keep the planet green
In a partnership with Gossamer Space Frames, Hydro supplied over 7 million pounds of extruded tubing and connectors (a truckload a day for over 7 months) for the development of Nevada Solar One, the world’s third largest renewable solar energy plant.
Generating 64-megawatts of power and spanning 400 acres of desert in Boulder City, NV, Nevada Solar One creates electricity from the sun’s heat at a cost competitive with power from coal or natural gas. Click here for article.
