Several of Hydro's downstream aluminium business sectors are managed from the Lausanne office, which we opened in 1986.

This includes the global sectors for building systems and for precision tubing, and aluminium extrusions in Europe and Asia. We also have a commercial team for bauxite and alumina at the Lausanne office.
