In the autumn of 2020, Lyse and Hydro established a joint hydropower company Lyse Kraft DA, which is owned 74.4 per cent by Lyse and 25.6 per cent by Hydro. As part of the agreement, Hydro took over operator responsibility for Lyse's previously wholly owned power plant. Read more about the establishment in our press release.
With the power plants in the Stavanger region included, Hydro is Norway's third largest operator of renewable power production, with a total production of 13.7 TWh in a normal year.
Adjusted for ownership, Hydro's annual power production is 9.4 TWh in a normal year.
