On Tuesday (20), the Legislative Assembly of Pará (Alepa) installed a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) to investigate issues related to the heavy rains in February in the municipality of Barcarena. The investigation includes the situation of Hydro Alunorte, as well as the participation of the State government in the events.
Alepa's CPI is made up of seven members and will operate for up to 90 days, with the possibility of being extended for another 30 days. The members are: Neil Duarte (PSC) - President of the CPI, & nbsp; Celso Sabino (PSDB) - Rapporteur, Eliel Faustino (DEM), Miro Sanova (PDT), Tércio Nogueira (PROS), José Scaff (MDB) and Carlos Bordalo (PT).
Hydro has been operating in an open and transparent manner with employees, communities and all competent authorities. he even participated in a special session held at Alepa on the 12th of this month.
