Communities return to receive water in tankers

Alunorte informs that it received a new notification from the Public Prosecutor's Office, on April 30, and that it will follow guidelines to resume the distribution of water by means of water tankers for hygiene, among other purposes of domestic use, in the communities of Burajuba, Bom Futuro and New village.

Distribution, resumed on May 3, will continue to maintain quality control to ensure compliance with all sanitary standards, such as stainless steel and carbon steel tanks, identification of the vehicle as intended for the transport of drinking water , sanitization of the tank.

Since February 23, Alunorte has also been distributing mineral water to communities in Burajuba, Bom Futuro and Vila Nova, in Barcarena (PA), as humanitarian aid for some 1800 families living in the three communities that were impacted by the heavy rains in February.
