The award was given during the 13th edition of the IEL Internship Award on the night of Wednesday, November 06, in Bahia, Brazil. Hydro took second national place in the large enterprise category, a recognition for maintaining best practices in attracting, developing and retaining interns.

“This is another recognition that consolidates our work in the development, training and qualification of Pará labor. We are very proud with the results of this program. As I always say, these interns could be the future managers of our company, ”said Douglas Ruozzi, Hydro's Human Resources Director.

The "Talento Infinito" had already been awarded at the Regional stage in the first place, as well as Izabella Rendeiro, Process Engineering student at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), who was recognized as an “Outstanding Intern” for the project developed during her internship at Alunorte, our alumina refinery in Barcarena (PA) and Carolina Amaral, an Albras intern, also had the project recognized in the regional stage, reaching third place in the same category.

About the award - The IEL Internship Award was created with a focus on valuing the education and training of future professionals and also as an incentive to employ internship policies in companies.

In this year's edition, according to information from the CNI News Agency, projects were selected to compete in the following categories: Outstanding Company, in the Micro and Small subcategories, Medium, Large and Social Industry Institutions (SESI), National Industrial Learning Service ( SENAI) and National Industry Confederation (CNI) with internship management programs for industry; Outstanding Intern and Outstanding Education Institution, in the Professional Education and Technical Education and Higher Education divisions.
