Registration for the Young Talent 2021 Program, the young apprentice program of Mineração Paragominas, is open from December 28, 2020 until January 22, 2021. In this edition, 70 vacancies will be offered for Hydro's bauxite mine. The selection is aimed at young people aged 18 to 22, completed by May 2021, residing in Paragominas. Applicants must have completed high school or are studying, available to take the course with a daily workload of 6 hours and not have been a young apprentice in the company previously.

The Young Talent has been carried out by Hydro since 2011, with the aim of contributing to the qualification of young people from the communities surrounding its units. The vacancies at Mineração Paragominas are divided into four areas: Industrial Learning in Mining, Electromechanical Operator, Maintenance Mechanic for Industrial Machines and Maintenance of Industrial Automation Systems. The activities of the new apprentices of Industrial Learning in Mining and Electromechanical Operator will start in March 2021; and the courses in Maintenance Mechanic of Industrial Machines and Maintenance of Industrial Automation Systems, in June.
